ECAC Weekly - Championship Recap
Victories in Van Cortlandt
Princeton had no problem making statements this weekend. At the front of the race, Anthony Monte opened a gap on the field that held through the duration of 8000m race. He led a strong scoring contingent coming in 1-3-4-12-13 to win the team race with 33 points ahead of fellow Ivy, Cornell at 60.

The Difference A Month Makes
Historically, the ECAC/IC4A Championship would serve as an extension of post season. Another opportunity to show off some fitness after regionals. After a long season of 6k and 8k races teams weren’t always eager to jump on another hard race when some are running on fumes.
The move to Mid-October breathed new life into the meet this year. Attendance went from 12 teams to 35, and a deep field brought out some of the best racing on the East Coast this weekend.
